Early life & Calling
David Ursin gave his life to Jesus as a young boy, and from an early age, he had a desire to share Jesus with others. At 19 years old, a friend began teaching David practical ways to approach strangers and share the Gospel. This helped ignite a passion for personal evangelism and gave David the confidence to share his faith wherever he went.
Training & Ministry Formation
David later attended a four-year Bible college in Kansas City, where he gained a much deeper understanding of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. During this time, he was also trained in praying for the sick, hearing God‘s voice and operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. During this season, David began actively ministering outside the church—praying for the sick, encouraging them through prophetic ministry, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Evangelism Apprenticeship
Immediately after Bible college, David was one of six people selected for a one-year apprenticeship program under Evangelist Daniel Kolenda, successor of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, one of the most influential mass evangelists of all time. Through this apprenticeship, David received hands-on training in the organization of large-scale Gospel Crusades. After completing the program, David went on to work with Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke’s ministry, assisting with the logistics and organization of mass Gospel Crusades in the USA. Making Jesus Known 2015–Present
In 2015, David felt the leading of the Holy Spirit to step out and begin his own evangelistic ministry, Making Jesus Known. Today, David travels around the world preaching the Gospel, with a particular heart to reach people in some of the hardest and darkest places on earth. Whether speaking to one person on the street or preaching to tens of thousands at a Gospel Crusade, his message remains the same. Repent and believe in the gospel. David is married to his beautiful wife, Natalia. Together, they have three wonderful children, with another little one on the way. They currently live in Orlando, Florida.
